A few simple habits keep your pieces looking their best for years.
- Dry clothfor everyday dust
- Under 50 °Caway from heat and summer sun
- Dry decorvases are not watertight
Cleaning
- A dry microfibre cloth or a soft duster, for everyday dust.
- For a deeper clean, a slightly damp cloth (lukewarm water, no harsh soap), then wipe dry right away.
Never
- Solvents (acetone, alcohol, thinners): they dissolve or cloud PLA.
- Dishwasher or boiling water: heat deforms the piece.
- Abrasive scrubbing: it scratches the finish for good.
- Long soaking in water.
Where to place them
- Away from windows in full summer sun: trapped heat can go above 50 °C.
- Away from heat sources (radiator, fireplace, stove).
- Indoors: rain and UV eventually weaken the material.
- Normal indoor humidity is no problem.
Candle holders
Use only tealights in their metal cup, and keep the safety distance shown on the product page. Never an open flame directly on PLA.
Vases
Our vases are designed for dry decor: artificial flowers, dried branches, objects. Do not fill them with water.
