Who is responsible
PixoLab · Deux-Montagnes (Québec) · 514 239-2405 · info@pixolab.ca (the seller, “we”).
Person in charge of the protection of personal information: the owner of PixoLab, reachable at info@pixolab.ca.
What we collect, and when
- An order: name, shipping address, email and phone, entered on the Stripe payment page and passed to the site with the order. Your card is entered at Stripe: the site never sees it.
- An account: email, name, phone and billing address. You sign in with a link sent to your email, no password; a session cookie keeps you signed in.
- Designer and store program: business name, website, message, GST and QST numbers, and our internal follow-up notes on the request.
- Pixo Lab: the designs you send us and your print requests, with the shipping address.
- A quote: your 3D files and the project details. When you accept a quote, the date, your IP address and your browser are kept as proof of acceptance.
- A message: what you write through the contact form or by email.
- Technical reports: your browser may report to the site a resource that a security rule would have blocked (page, resource, browser), with no cookie and no identity. Kept 30 days.
- In your browser only: your cart and the postal code used to estimate shipping. They reach us only if you order.
Why
To fulfil your order, invoice it and deliver it, to answer you, and to meet our tax obligations. Nothing else: no profiling, no sale of information, no marketing emails. The only emails you get concern your order, your account or your request.
Who it is shared with
- Stripe (payment): name, contact details and card, which only Stripe sees.
- Chit Chats and the carrier (label and delivery): name, address, email and parcel description.
- Resend (confirmation and shipping emails): email, name and the content of the message. The sign-in link itself is sent by Supabase.
- QuickBooks (accounting): issued invoices, with the billing name and contact details.
- Supabase and Vercel (hosting of the site, accounts, orders and files).
Some of these services keep data outside Québec, notably in the United States, under contractual safeguards.
How long
- Orders and invoices: six years, as tax law requires, then deleted.
- Account: until you delete it.
- Pixo Lab designs and print requests: as long as your account exists.
- 3D files of a quote: kept with the quote; an upload abandoned before the request is sent is erased after 24 hours.
- Contact messages: as long as it takes to handle your request.
- Browser technical reports: 30 days.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@pixolab.ca. We answer within 30 days. On the “My account” page, the “Delete my account” button erases your account and personal information at once, no need to write to us; only the invoices the law requires us to keep remain, detached from any account. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Cookies
Two cookies only, both necessary: your session when you are signed in to your account, and access to the shop preview if you were given its link. The language is in the page address, not in a cookie. No advertising cookie, no audience measurement, no tracking. Your cart and postal code stay in your browser; you erase them by clearing the site's data.
